Court Chapman
Court began his career in real estate in 1994 by renovating homes in the greater Columbus area, and also as an owner of rental properties. To date, he has fully renovated 12 different homes and understands how to prepare a home for sale to maximize the sale price. He loves helping his clients find the perfect home for their needs, and also to sell their home swiftly and profitably. Court has a deep real estate knowledge of many suburbs in Central Ohio, with special expertise in the German Village, Victorian Village, Italian Village, Clintonville, Bexley, Berwick and Eastmoor areas.
“Customers come first” is the abiding business philosophy that has guided him during his career. He customizes his marketing techniques to fit the property that he’s representing. “One of my most rewarding experiences was when I helped a client buy a home, and then an entire YEAR later, they sent me a random text message about how much they are in LOVE with their home.”
Courtney’s vast background of experience allows him to offer multiple pre-sale services to his clients, such as professional staging and recommendations of high-quality contractors. Since he has renovated so many homes, he’s able to give clients accurate estimates of what specific upgrades will cost as he tours homes with them.
Court was born in North Canton, Ohio, growing up with his 6 brother and sisters. He and his family later moved to Columbus, and he graduated from Worthington High School. He’s a graduate of Bennington College with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Court resides in Berwick, and is the proud owner of 2 adorable dogs, Isabelle and Bosley. When he’s not working to help his clients buy and sell homes, Court enjoys traveling both domestically and internationally. His favorite charitable organizations include WCBE and Stonewall, and he also volunteers with the Columbus Landmarks Foundation.
He is a member of the North Area Real Estate Association and Midtown Realtor Association, the Columbus Realtors, the Ohio Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.
