Paula Friedrich-Larsen
Paula began her real estate career 22 years ago, when JP Faulkner sold her a house and convinced her that with her strong sales background, she would make a great realtor. She has been a licensed agent since 1998.
She works primarily with residential properties, but also has some experience with commercial real estate and commercial leases. After a 5-year respite where she managed private, rental properties (single family/double family homes), Paula rejoined the Faulkner Realty brokerage in 2014. She’s pleased to bring her rental property management expertise to her clients.
Paula is 100% devoted to helping her clients reach their real estate goals. “I want to help someone to the best of my ability, and do what’s right for them.” She has helped families buy and sell homes all across Columbus, and she offers a special expertise in the Clintonville area. “I am able to work in any and all neighborhoods, and if I need to educate myself on an area—I will.” The qualities that distinguish her from other agents is her numerous. She has a vivid personality, she is a great negotiator, and she puts her integrity before her commission. “I’ve always been told by clients that I never made them do something that they weren’t comfortable with doing. I’ve never pushed them into buying a home, never sold them something just for the sake of selling.”
She customizes her marketing techniques to fit the property that she’s representing, using a proven, successful pre-marketing strategy that helps her clients get to a home sale quickly and above the list price. In fact, every one of her sales in 2015 was over list!
Paula goes above and beyond to offer multiple pre-sale services to her clients. Along with using her fashion-industry training to provide professional staging for your home, she also serves as a general contractor to both locate and manage qualified contractors for floors, painting, electrical, landscaping, etc. “Lots of agents offer staging services, but not all of them are skilled at doing it. Sometimes, just choosing the right paint color can make or break a room.” She is your trusted partner in getting your home ready for sale, and maximizing results.
Paula grew up in Memphis, and attended college in Texas, earning a bachelor’s degree in fashion design. She went on to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, and worked in the fashion industry for several years in NYC. She also chartered luxury motor yachts in New York Harbor for tours around the Hudson River. Paula has lived in the Worthington area since 2010. She’s a huge animal lover, and is the “pet mother” of dogs and cats. When she’s not buying and selling homes, Paula loves traveling and enjoys scuba diving in the Caribbean. A self-proclaimed “foodie,” she also loves to cook and to try new local restaurants. A few of her favorite charitable organizations are: The Pink Wedding (a Denver-based organization that provides weddings for women with breast cancer), The Heifer Project, Adopt-A-Sister, and any organization that serves animals.
She is a member of the Ohio Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, and the North Area Real Estate Association.
